Partnership with the World Media Economics and Management Conference (WMEMC) 2025

The Warsaw Convention Bureau is delighted to announce our partnership with the upcoming World Media Economics and Management Conference (WMEMC) scheduled for May 24th and 25th, 2025. This prestigious academic event, taking place in Warsaw, brings together scholars from the fields of media studies and communication from all corners of the globe.

The collaboration includes the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies at the University of Warsaw and the City of Warsaw. The announcement was officially made at this year’s conference in Seoul, where the Warsaw team was represented by Associate Professor Anna Jupowicz-Ginalska of the University of Warsaw, the coordinator of the upcoming WMEMC.

Under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of the City of Warsaw, Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, the WMEMC2025 will engage with the theme „Future Media Generations: Reinventing Management for Turbulent Times”. The conference aims to navigate the shifting landscapes of the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions and their profound impact on media management in a turbulent societal context.

As part of this mission, the conference will explore the concept of future media generations, blending theories of societal and media generations. The emphasis is on how the rapid changes in technology and cultural shifts in digital literacy between various generations are influencing the future of media and its management.

The conference’s objectives align with our commitment at the Warsaw Convention Bureau to foster innovation and support important academic discussions. We are proud to contribute to the success of this significant event and look forward to more updates.
