Celebrating Culinary Excellence: Warsaw Shines in the MICHELIN Guide Poland 2023

At the Warsaw Convention Bureau, we are happy to share fantastic news from the MICHELIN Guide Poland 2023. This year has been extremely exciting for Polish cuisine and we are pleased that Warsaw is at the forefront of this culinary celebration.

Of the three Michelin-starred restaurants in Poland, one is proudly located in our vibrant city. Moreover, in Warsaw there are six out of seven premises awarded with the valued title of Bib Gourmand, which indicates high quality food at reasonable prices. In addition, in our city there are 12 out of 39 nationwide places recommended by the guide, which really show the culinary artistry of Warsaw.

This year, Michelin inspectors extended their search to Poznań and discovered 11 excellent restaurants, thus expanding the scope of the Polish culinary landscape. The 2023 selection includes an impressive 22 new additions, bringing the total to 49 recommended restaurants across the country.

Hearty congratulations to Bottiglieria 1881 in Krakow for being the first restaurant in Poland with two Michelin stars, as well as to the newly minted restaurants with one star Muga in Poznań and NUTA in Warsaw.

We are also very pleased with the awards of our member restaurants: Koneser Grill, Kieliszki na Próżnej and DOM WÓDKI – Elixir Restaurant & Vodka Atelier. Your commitment to culinary excellence adds significant value to our city brand, further promoting our unique dining options.

These accolades, from Michelin Stars to Bib Gourmands, not only elevate our city and country to the global culinary scene, but also inspire our local culinary talents to continue innovating.
