Where science becomes business. InnoSHARE UNIversity 2019
The innovators, entrepreneurial scientists, PhD and grad students, deep tech start-ups, the employees of scientific corporations, representatives of the innovation ecosystems from all around the world and investors – you can meet them all at the fifth edition of innoSHARE UNIversity, inspired by motto „Where science becomes business”.
innoSHARE UNIversity is an international event organized in Warsaw for innovators, entrepreneurial scientists, PhD and grad students, deep tech start-ups, the employees of scientific corporations, innovators and representatives of the innovation ecosystems from all around the world, the purpose of which is to build the network of relations and the exchange of knowledge between science, business and administration, as well as the facilitation and internationalizing the innovation ecosystem in Poland and creating the new global event in the CEE region in cooperation with Partners of the Innovative Poland Foundation (Fundacja Polska Innowacyjna). This year, the hub of the inspiring meetups and lectures will be Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw which will host the participants of the event on the 10th of October.
Science – Innovation – Business
The event will gather 450 participants, and lectures and discussions will be led by over 40 speakers from a number of countries. They will speak about various topics such as the universities of the future, new fuels and energy, drones, futuristic cities and food, healthcare, biotechnology, chemistry and new materials, photonics and Human Tech. The participants will have an opportunity to get to know the newest technological trends in science and business, during activities comprising discussion panels, FIREside CHAT (discussions between the representatives of companies and the world of science) or impact TALK (individual lectures educating the public about the companies’ technological solutions).
The fifth edition of this international event is an opportunity to meet not just the scientists and innovators from deep tech start-ups, but also the representatives of innovation ecosystems from different parts of the world, partners and participants aiming to accomplish their business goals and scientific ambitions, as well as investors and business angels. One of the guests of this year’s edition will be Arno Meerman – the co-founder and General Director of the world-wide University Industry Innovation Network (www.uiin.org), who will speak about the universities of the future and how networking and facilitation support the co-operation between science and business around the world.
