Warsaw at the Heart of Poland’s EU Council Presidency
As of January 1, 2025, Poland has assumed the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This significant period attracts thousands of visitors to our country, including representatives of EU member state governments and participants of numerous international events. As Poland’s capital, Warsaw plays a key role during this prestigious time.
To promote the city, the Warsaw Tourist Organization, in collaboration with the Warsaw Tourism Office, has set up a special information booth at PGE Narodowy. Here, guests attending the Presidency events can explore Warsaw’s diverse tourism offerings—from historical landmarks and museums to cultural and culinary attractions. Our goal is not only to provide practical information but also to inspire visitors to discover the city during their stay in Poland.
Poland’s EU Council Presidency is also an opportunity to showcase Warsaw as a modern, rapidly developing metropolis—an excellent destination for hosting international events, as well as for business and leisure tourism.
