Warsaw won European Best Destination 2023!

Warsaw – an open, friendly and diverse metropolis won a prestigious title of European Best Destination 2023!

After few weeks of intense voting campaign conducted on international and local market the capital of Poland was awarded with the title of the most atractive tourist destination in Europe for 2023.

The success is even more significant when you consider the following:

• Warsaw won by an overwhelming majority of votes: 142 000 votes versus 90 000 votes received by Athens who landed on second place.
• No other city has ever received that many votes in the 14 years history of the European Best Destination contest.

The title will definitely increase Warsaw’s touristic brand recognition intenationally and will enhance the effectiveness of promotion and marketing compaigns that are to be launched in the upcoming months. Accordingly we are expecting the increase in the number of tourists and visitors coming to the capital of Poland which will impact local tourism economy.
