Warsaw Ranked Among Top Meeting Destination in Europe by Cvent

We are glad to announce that we have been ranked among Top 25 Meeting Destinations in Europe for 2019 by Cvent.  Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, hosts one of the world’s largest venue sourcing networks and MICE business booking platforms called the Cvent Supplier Network (CSN). The lists were compiled based on meeting and event booking activity across Cvent’s venue sourcing sites, including CSN, through which more than $16 billion in business was sourced in 2018.   “We are honoured to be ranked among the top meetings and events destination cities in Europe by Cvent,” says Barbara Tutak, President of the Board, Warsaw Tourism Organisation. “Earning a spot on this ranking validates the significant effort we put into making Warsaw an ideal location for corporate meetings, a critical driver of local economic activity.”   “Business events add $1.5 trillion to the global GDP and because of this positive economic impact, the cities featured in this year’s Top Meeting Destinations lists have put significant time and resources into attracting more MICE business to their locales,” said Chris McAndrews, vice president of marketing for Cvent Hospitality Cloud. “Leading destinations are working closely with hotels and venues in their area to offer and promote unique experiences, helping event organisers deliver more memorable and impactful events.”   Cvent evaluated more than 11,000 cities worldwide featured on Cvent’s venue sourcing sites to compile the eighth annual list.
