Warsaw Enters Europe’s Top 20 in the ICCA Global Meetings Ranking

Warsaw continues to strengthen its position on the global meetings map. The latest ICCA GlobeWatch: Business Analytics – Country & City Rankings 2025 confirms that the Polish capital is not only maintaining its dynamic growth, but is now joining the top tier of Europe’s meetings industry destinations.

In the newest edition of the ranking, Warsaw placed 28th worldwide and, for the first time, entered Europe’s Top 20, reaching 19th place among the continent’s leading congress cities. In 2025, Warsaw hosted 75 international association meetings qualifying under ICCA criteria – 13 more than the previous year.

Behind these numbers stands more than just statistical growth. Warsaw is increasingly becoming a destination chosen by international associations, industry leaders, and global organizations as a place for knowledge exchange, innovation, and meaningful business connections.

Poland also recorded a significant success overall, advancing to 18th place globally and 11th in Europe with a total of 215 international association meetings hosted in 2025. The results reflect the growing importance of Poland within the global MICE industry and the long-term collaboration between convention bureaux, event organizers, venues, hotels, and industry stakeholders across the country.

For years, ICCA rankings have been considered one of the most respected benchmarks in the international meetings industry. The report includes only recurring events rotating between at least three countries and gathering a minimum of 50 participants, making the ranking a highly credible measure of a destination’s international meetings performance.

Other Polish cities also strengthened their positions in the European ranking. Kraków ranked 31st in Europe with 44 meetings, while Gdańsk, Poznań, Wrocław, Łódź, and Katowice were also included in the report. Together, these results highlight the sustainable and steadily growing development of Poland’s meetings industry.

For Warsaw, this achievement represents more than another ranking milestone. It confirms the city’s growing reputation as a modern, well-connected, and internationally competitive destination for congresses and business events.
