Warsaw Convention Bureau at IBTM World 2025
On 18–20 November 2025, representatives of the Warsaw Convention Bureau participated in IBTM World in Barcelona, one of the most important global events for the MICE industry. As in previous years, our presence took place at the Polish national stand coordinated by the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourism Organisation (POT).
This year’s edition of IBTM World attracted more than 2,350 exhibitors and over 2,000 Hosted Buyers, while the total number of participants reached approximately 15,000. During the event, more than 73,000 pre-scheduled business meetings were held, confirming the show’s status as one of the key dates in the meetings industry calendar.
Over the three days of the trade show, representatives of the Warsaw Convention Bureau held more than 50 meetings with event organizers, corporate representatives, and international associations. Discussions focused primarily on planning conferences for the years 2026–2029, opportunities to host events in Warsaw’s largest conference venues, and the city’s growing position as a modern, well-connected, and safe MICE destination in Europe. Participants also received up-to-date information on the city’s conference infrastructure, hotel offer, and air accessibility.
The Warsaw Convention Bureau, together with the Mazovia Convention Bureau, co-created the Polish national stand alongside the Poland Convention Bureau POT and industry partners. The stand attracted considerable interest from attendees seeking reliable information about Poland as a professional and competitive conference destination.
