Warsaw Convention Bureau at Conventa 2025

Warsaw Convention Bureau once again participated in Conventa, which took place from February 18 to 20 in Ljubljana. This is one of the most significant MICE industry events in Central and Eastern Europe, bringing together representatives of destinations, hotels, congress centers, and business event organizers.

During this year’s edition, representatives of Warsaw Convention Bureau and Mazovia Convention Bureau jointly held a series of meetings with event planners, congress organizers, and incentive agencies from key European markets. The discussions focused on event opportunities in Warsaw, available conference infrastructure, and the support offered by the city to international organizers.

Participation in Conventa allowed for strengthening relationships with existing partners and establishing new contacts, particularly with representatives from the Balkan and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) markets, which are showing growing interest in Warsaw as a MICE destination. Poland’s capital stands out not only for its modern conference facilities but also for its rich cultural offerings and attractive options for incentive groups.

During the gala accompanying the trade fair, Warsaw was honored with the prestigious Meeting Star Award in the Best Meeting Destination 2024/2025 category, confirming its dynamic growth as a congress destination and the high level of services offered to event organizers. This recognition serves as an important confirmation for international partners that Poland’s capital is an attractive and professional location for hosting conferences, congresses, and business meetings, thanks to the collective efforts of the local MICE sector.

Participation in Conventa 2025 was another step in promoting Warsaw on the international stage and an opportunity to showcase the city’s strengths to a wide audience of industry experts. Warsaw Convention Bureau continues its efforts to attract new events and strengthen Warsaw’s position as a key meeting hub in Europe.
