Warsaw at MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2026 in Sofia – strengthening Warsaw’s position in the MICE market 

From 8–10 February, we participated in MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2026 in Sofia, one of the key MICE industry forums in the CEE region. Organised by Europe Congress, the event brings together destinations and solution providers from Central and Eastern Europe with carefully vetted international event planners.

 

MCE CEE is built around pre-scheduled, match-made B2B meetings. Each hosted buyer undergoes a strict qualification process and represents active business in the region. In Sofia, we met agencies, corporates and associations from Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Benelux, Scandinavia, Southern Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

 

During intensive B2B sessions, we presented Warsaw as a modern, well-connected and competitive destination for international conferences, congresses and corporate events. Our discussions focused on hotel capacity, conference infrastructure, air connectivity and the city’s experience in delivering events of various scales.

 

The programme combined formal business meetings with destination presentations and networking opportunities in a focused, boutique setting designed to maximise meaningful connections.
