Warsaw as a MICE Destination – FAM Trip with Sheraton Grand Warsaw

On May 19, 2025, Warsaw hosted a FAM trip organized by Sheraton Grand Warsaw in collaboration with our organization, dedicated to representatives of the MICE industry from the United Kingdom. The event aimed to showcase the potential of Poland’s capital as a modern and rapidly developing destination ideal for business events, conferences, and incentive travel.

Participants included representatives of renowned companies specializing in event planning, business travel, and venue sourcing. Among the attending brands were:

• Travel Places
• Congress Bookers
• HeadBox
• Marriott Hotels International
• PwC

The program began with a welcome at the Warsaw Central Railway Station, followed by a visit to the observation deck at the Palace of Culture and Science. This symbolic location not only offers a unique perspective of the city but also served as an excellent introduction to Warsaw’s ongoing transformation.

Next on the itinerary was a visit to the Royal Łazienki Park – the green heart of Warsaw and one of its top tourist attractions.

The group then proceeded to Sheraton Grand Warsaw for lunch and an in-depth presentation of the hotel’s offering – including accommodation, conference spaces, and culinary services. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with Sheraton representatives and discuss the venue’s capabilities for hosting events.

In the afternoon, the group visited the Kubicki Arcades – a unique event venue located at the foot of the Royal Castle – followed by a walk through Warsaw’s Old Town. Guests experienced the unique atmosphere of the historic center and saw its potential for cultural events and evening activities.

The day concluded with a dinner and site inspection at The Westin Warsaw, which – like Sheraton – is part of the Marriott portfolio. Guests explored the hotel’s offering, including its modern conference facilities and business-friendly amenities.
