Tourism Industry Meeting in Warsaw – Preparations for Poland’s Presidency of the European Union in 2025
On May 21, 2024, the Warsaw Chopin Airport Conference Center hosted integration meetings of the tourism sector, organized in connection with the upcoming Presidency of Poland in the European Union. The Warsaw Convention Bureau facilitated three working sessions focused on key sectors: hospitality and conference facilities, cultural institutions, and tour operators and restaurateurs.
The goal of these meetings was to discuss and plan activities for the presidency period, scheduled for the first half of 2025. During this time, Warsaw will become the venue for over 150 events of various scales, which will be organized for government delegations from across Europe.
Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and establish new business contacts, which is crucial for effectively preparing the city to host international events. The Warsaw Convention Bureau, in cooperation with the City Hall of Warsaw and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, focuses on providing adequate accommodation options and adapting conference spaces.
We thank all participants for their active involvement and valuable discussions, which will contribute to Warsaw’s success as the host of this prestigious period in European politics.
