Together for the Development of the MICE Industry

On December 8, activities carried out by the MPI Poland Chapter combined the inauguration of the Future Professionalsmentoring program with a festive gathering of the industry community, held with the active participation of the Warsaw Tourism Organization.

Both parts of the event took place at venues belonging to members of our Organization. The inauguration of the mentoring program was held at Focus Hotels S.A. in Warsaw, where the first edition of Future Professionals MPI Poland Chapter was launched—an initiative addressed to students and young professionals starting their careers in the MICE industry.

The program involves 14 mentors and 14 mentees representing various areas of the industry, including events, hospitality, marketing, tourism, and project management. One of the mentors is a representative of the Warsaw Tourism Organization, which aligns with WOT’s activities aimed at developing competencies and strengthening the long-term human resources base of the meetings sector. The program includes three months of intensive cooperation, knowledge exchange, and relationship-building within the industry.

The evening part of the meeting took place at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum—also a member of the Warsaw Tourism Organization—and provided a space for integration of the MPI Poland Chapter community as well as participation in FRIS® workshops, focused on practical aspects of working in the event industry.

The Warsaw Tourism Organization consistently engages in initiatives supporting the development of the MICE industry, leveraging the potential of its members and strengthening cross-sector cooperation to promote Warsaw as a meetings destination.
