Report: „Meetings and Events Industry in Poland 2024”

The main objective of the „Meetings and Events Industry in Poland 2024” report is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of the meetings and events industry in Poland, based on 2023 data. This anniversary edition not only presents general information on events organized in Poland in 2023 but also includes a 15-year retrospective prepared by leading experts in the Polish meetings industry.

Data collected by the Poland Convention Bureau shows an average increase of 51% in the number of reported events in the cities covered by the report, compared to 2022. In 2023, conferences and congresses held the largest share, accounting for 54% of all events (a 12% increase from the previous year). Corporate and incentive events represented 41%, while fairs and exhibitions accounted for 5%.

In the context of international association meetings, it is worth highlighting Poland’s excellent result in the 2023 ICCA Report (International Congress and Convention Association), prepared in collaboration with ICCA members, including the Polish Tourism Organization and Polish meetings industry partners. The report, based on an analysis of nearly 10,000 international meetings held in 2023, shows that Poland achieved its best ranking to date, securing 17th place globally. This impressive six-position advancement from the previous report, where Poland ranked 23rd, reflects the impact of strategic actions and investments in the development of the meetings and events industry, with 179 international association meetings held in Poland in 2023.
