MICHELIN Guide 2026 Plaques Presented to Awarded Restaurants

The culinary Oscars shone brightly in the elegant interiors of Hotel Warszawa, where the official MICHELIN Guide 2026 plaque and plate presentation ceremony took place. The event brought together the creators of Poland’s finest dining experiences and was jointly organized by the Gastronomic Academy of Poland, the Polish Tourism Organisation, and the Warsaw Tourism Organization. It provided a unique opportunity for chefs, restaurateurs, and industry experts from across the country to celebrate achievements and discuss the future of gastronomy.

The day began with inspiration and knowledge sharing. Before the prestigious plaques were presented, guests attended an industry seminar focused on managing restaurants in a demanding and highly competitive market. Experts from the Gastronomic Academy and the Polish Tourism Organisation examined the factors that make Poland’s culinary scene stand out on the European stage. A short quiz about the MICHELIN Guide added a touch of excitement and perfectly set the tone for the ceremony that followed.

The plaque presentation itself was filled with pride and emotion. These metal plaques represent far more than a prestigious distinction displayed at a restaurant’s entrance. They symbolize the daily commitment, consistency, quality, and dedication of the teams who work tirelessly to build Poland’s culinary reputation. MICHELIN Stars and recommendations were presented by region, and the pride visible on the faces of the recipients was well deserved.

Warsaw once again confirmed its position as the dynamic heart of Polish gastronomy. The city’s acclaimed restaurants hub.praga, NUTA, and Rozbrat 20 successfully retained their prestigious MICHELIN Stars. Joining this elite group was newcomer Alon Omakase, which earned its first MICHELIN Star. Warsaw also strengthened its reputation as a destination offering exceptional value for money in the Bib Gourmand category. Alongside established favorites, several exciting new venues were recognized, including AHAAN, Blisko Bar, WIN Wine Bar & Shop, and WANDAL, which additionally received the Opening of the Year award.

Following the official ceremony and a group photograph of all award recipients, the celebrations continued in a more relaxed atmosphere. Guests gathered at the Szóstka restaurant, where conversations about culinary passion carried on throughout the afternoon against the backdrop of a breathtaking panoramic view of Warsaw.
