French Trade Magazine Meet and Travel Mag Visits Warsaw

From April 7–9, Michel Foraud – Editor-in-Chief of the French magazine Meet and Travel Mag – visited Warsaw. The press trip was organized in cooperation with the Polish Tourism Organisation’s Foreign Office in Paris and aimed to showcase Warsaw’s potential as a MICE destination, as well as to prepare an in-depth feature on Poland’s meetings industry.

The upcoming article, which will span approximately 14 pages, will cover both Warsaw and Kraków. Meet and Travel Mag is a renowned bi-monthly publication dedicated to business travel, with a focus on congresses, seminars, and incentive trips. The magazine also explores topics related to hospitality, gastronomy, and transportation. It has a print run of 3,560 copies and an estimated readership of nearly 20,000.

Michel Foraud stayed at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw, which served as the starting point for an intensive visit program. His itinerary included a tour of the Old Town and site inspections of Warsaw’s classic hotels: Hotel Bristol, Raffles Europejski Warsaw, and Hotel Verte. The evening began with a presentation of Nobu Hotel Warsaw and the Highline Warsaw venue, followed by a tasting dinner at Elixir by Dom Wódki.

The second day began with visits to the Royal Castle in Warsaw and the Kubicki Arcades, followed by the Copernicus Science Centre. The afternoon focused on the right bank of the Vistula River – Michel Foraud explored Centrum Praskie Koneser and Bohema 2.8, with lunch at Kieliszki na Próżnej.

Later in the day, he conducted site inspections at Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB, Norblin Factory, The Westin Warsaw, and Royal Tulip Warsaw Apartments. The day concluded with an atmospheric candlelit concert at the Fryderyk Concert Hall and dinner at U Wieniawy restaurant.

We would like to thank all our partners for their involvement and excellent presentations. We hope this visit will result in an inspiring publication that will contribute to increasing Warsaw’s recognition on the French MICE market.
