FAM Trip for guests from Europe and Scandinavian markets

Between 13 and 15 January, the Warsaw Tourism Organisation, in cooperation with the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau and Mazovia Convention Bureau, hosted a FAM Trip for nine guests from Europe, the United Kingdom and the Scandinavian countries. The aim of the visit was to present Warsaw as an attractive destination for business, group and event tourism.

The programme began with accommodation and a site inspection at Nobu Hotel Warsaw. On the first day, the guests also visited Highline and Hilton Warsaw City, gaining insight into the city’s hotel and event offer.

On the second day, the participants attended the Events Industry Forum (FBE) at EXPO XXI Warsaw, one of the key MICE and event industry gatherings in Poland. The programme also included a debate focused on the organisation of international events. Following the forum, the guests took part in a site inspection and lunch at The Westin Warsaw, before continuing with a tour of the city centre, including visits to Hotel Bristol, Raffles Europejski Warsaw and Sofitel Warsaw Victoria.

The final day featured further site inspections at Hotel Presidential, Browary Warszawskie, Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB and DoubleTree by Hilton Warsaw, followed by a summary of the visit and participants’ departures.

The January FAM Trip showcased Warsaw as a modern, well-connected city, fully prepared to host international business and event groups. It also provided an opportunity for direct meetings with representatives of Warsaw’s hotels and event venues, supporting relationship building with key international partners.
