The Warsaw Rising Museum opened on the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw uprising. It is Warsaw residents’ tribute to those who fought and died for an independent Poland and its free capital. The museum is located in a former tram power station, a fascinating landmark of pre-war industrial architecture. The building boasts a truly unique event area with a life-sized replica of the famous 1940s Liberator aircraft overhead.
