How many meetings in Warsaw in 2011?

Share |

We are happy to announce the 6th edition of the "Industry Meeting in Warsaw" report. This year's publication is unique due to the number of documented and characterized events that took place in the Polish capital in 2011. In relation to the report of the year 2010 this number has increased by over 700%, which, maintaining the level of detail of the collected data, is a great success.

Traditionally, to describe the local meetings market, we use the data published in ICCA's  "Country and Cities Rankings 2011." In this ranking Polish capital advances from 65th to 28th place, by showing the 65 (not 28 as in the previous year) large association congresses. Such a high position in the ranking proves that Warsaw is not only leading among other Polish cities, but is ahead of main global  congress destinations such as Geneva, Frankfurt, Athens, Dubai, Moscow, Tokyo and Washington.

This year's report, like the previous one, was prepared by Horwath HTL, expert consulting in the hospitality industry and tourism.
