Adam Mikołajczyk – an expert in territorial marketing, a fan of branding and a journalist. Graduate of the University of Lódź (territorial management – urban and regional management), student of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (London/Warsaw) and Stonebridge Associated College. Co-authored, as a consultant of Polish Tourism Development Agency (PART) in 2001-2004, the first marketing strategies for Polish cities and regions. For the past few years worked as an Editor-in chief and Managing Director of „Brief for Poland" – the first media-consulting platform in the area of destination marketing. At present, holds the position of the President of the management board of BestPlace – the European Institute of Destination Marketing – the new organization that aims at professionalization and popularization of destination marketing in Europe. An author of various publications on territorial marketing. An initiator and author of “First report on the condition of destination marketing in the cities and regions of Poland” (2007) as well as many innovative educational and commercial ventures (conferences, seminars, simulation games, fairs, etc.). Co-organizer of the first Festival of Commercials ‘AdDays’ in Lodz (2009).
