On the 11th of September Warsaw Convention Bureau organised a fam trip for the participants. A city game called 'Play the Chopin' was the first part. The aim of the game was to present Warsaw as a city attractive for tourists, with a rich history, celebrating the Chopin's Year. Contestants were devided into 2 groups. They wandered through the city in order to find clues. They visited Saski Garden, where Konstancja Gładkowska – Chopin's first love, was waiting for them dressed in the original attire. Then participants went to the Chopin's Parlour (on the premises of The Academy of Fine Arts), St. Cross Church, University of Warsaw, to the viewing terrace of St. Anna's Church, the Kubicki Arcades and Telimena coffee house. In each of these places a new assignement containing information about Chopin was awaiting them. In Kordegarda Chopin 2010 (Chopin Year information centre) participants listened to a short Chopin's music concert. The finale of the city game was held in the Royal Łazienki Park in front of the Chopin's Monument.
Participants spent their afternoon and evening in the Centre of Culture at the former Koneser Vodka Factory in Warsaw. They took part in artistic workshops, they had a chance to visit the old factory of vodka and to eat a diner in an unusual restaurant – Miotła. Artistic works, which next were put up for an auction during the dinner on Monday in the Freta Gallery, were a result of the workshops. Collected money was allocated for the purchase of a map of the world and gifts for children from the Substitute Family Home in Wesoła. Photographs of IMEX Challenge participants, assigned to countries from which they were from, were put on the map.
