On 25-27.05.2010 in Frankfurt was held one of the most important fairs dedicated to the organizers of the meetings industry business events. During this year Warsaw Convention Bureau representatives serve two stands: Warsaw and additional booth in the project „2010 IMEX Challenge - a chance to change Their Life”. IMEX Challenge is a new initiative implemented under the New Vision Projects - share related to the implementation of corporate social responsibility policy, which was the first edition will be held in Warsaw on 12-16.09.2010.
During three days there were 30 talks with representatives of both the PCO, DMC, as well as representatives of associations and organizations from around the world. Poland attracted most interest of such countries as Germany, Austria, Belgium and Mexico and the USA. The interlocutors expressed their desire to organize a visit to the Capital and meetings in the coming years, as the perception of Warsaw as a dynamic and modern city, but also new and fresh destination on the map industry meetings. The most popular major conference and exhibition facilities and hotels of five and four star.
Each year at the IMEX exhibition held several sessions devoted to new trends in the meetings industry, the development of this area and consolidate it into government structures.
This year's edition Politicians Forum, held on the first day of the fair, attended by 28 representatives from cities from such countries as Sweden, Greece, Austria, Canada, Croatia, Panama, Poland and Australia. Warsaw was represented by Mrs. Maria Szreder - Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee on Tourism Development Council of the City of Warsaw and Mr. Paul Terlecki - Vice-Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee on Tourism Development Council of the City of Warsaw.
