Next year, thanks to the efforts of the
Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan and Lewiatan Business
Angel - the largest network of Business Angels in Poland, Warsaw will
host the Congress of the European Business Angels - EBAN 2011, the
largest and most prestigious Business Angels event on our continent.
More than 300 businessmen, journalists
and politicians from Europe and all over the world will take part in the
Congress that every year is organized in a different European capital.
This year it will be held in April 15-16 in Istanbul. As a future host
of the Congress, the Polish delegates will have a short presentation of
Warsaw inviting participants to visit our capital in 2011.
The European Business Angel Network
(EBAN) is Europe's largest non-profit organization, founded in 1999 in
collaboration with the European Commission.
It works for the relevant policy of the European Commission in relation
to the interests of business angel networks. Its task is to examine
directions of development and trends in the market, relevant to its
members. It identifies good practice and ideas of business angels,
cooperation and the internationalization of the respective networks for
their members. Business angels are influential, wealthy individuals who
use their experience, knowledge and contacts to assist young
entrepreneurs and innovative businesses.
Warsaw Convention Bureau and Warsaw
Tourist Office supported polish representatives by providing materials
to promote Warsaw as the next host of the Congress.
